A Monumental Tribute: How Colts Training Camp 2025 Honored a Legend with a Viral Photo Mosaic Wall
The Indianapolis Colts Training Camp 2025 was more than just football. Held at the sprawling Grand Park Sports Campus, this year’s “Colts City” had a special purpose: to bring the community together to honor the incredible life and legacy of their beloved late owner, Jim Irsay. The Colts needed an activation that was not just engaging, but also respectful, participatory, and monumental. They partnered with Boothtube to create a tribute that would allow every single fan, player, and family member to become a permanent part of the memorial.
For the event, we constructed our biggest Photo Mosaic Wall to date—a massive 26 by 6-foot canvas. The concept was simple yet powerful: attendees could take a photo at our on-site station, and their picture would be printed as a unique tile. They could then place their photo on the mural, slowly revealing a stunning, large-scale portrait of Jim Irsay.
The response was overwhelming. Fans lined up for hours, eager to contribute their image and share a moment of reflection, turning the mosaic into a symbol of a community united in gratitude.
The Reach of the Photo Mosaic Wall: A Viral Sensation
In addition to the physical photo station, we launched a virtual mosaic. Attendees could scan a QR code, submit a photo from their own phone, and see it added to the digital version of the mosaic in real time. This guaranteed total inclusivity and kept the momentum going throughout the 13 training sessions.
The impact of the Jim Irsay Photo Mosaic Wall was felt far beyond the Training Camp. The activation delivered incredible, measurable results that honored a legacy and amplified the Colts’ community spirit.
