NACS Show 2025 with Mondelez: Redefining the Snacking Experience

The NACS Show is always the heartbeat of the convenience and fuel retailing industry, but the 2025 edition at McCormick Place in Chicago took the energy to an entirely new level. From October 14th to 17th, the expo floor was buzzing with the latest trends in AI, foodservice, and experiential retail. Among the sea of exhibitors, Mondelez International stood out as a beacon of innovation and fun.

This year, Mondelez elevated its presence by building a strong sense of brand ownership, rather than just displaying products. Their booth prominently featured the Mondelez identity, using one of its most famous brands, Oreo, to capture what it represents. A massive Oreo Cookie served as the background, grabbing the attention of every passerby.

A particularly famous feature was the “Oreo ID” stand, which allowed guests to take a picture and have it printed on an Oreo! Boothtube partnered with Mondelez to help them connect with their audience and ensure every guest felt fully immersed in the experience.

In an expo hall filled with thousands of booths, engagement is the name of the game. Mondelez understood that to truly connect with retailers and partners, they needed an activation that was as interactive as it was memorable. We deployed a fully customized Boothtube Photo Booth that served as the centerpiece of their fan engagement zone.

Besides the giant Oreo, this special booth featured a vibrant, dynamic background that mirrored the electric energy of the Sour Patch Kids. It wasn’t just a photo op; it was a content creation station where attendees could snap a moment of joy, celebrating the fun side of the convenience industry. The activation perfectly bridged the gap between a professional trade show environment and the playful spirit of Mondelez’s iconic brands.

    In the fast-paced environment of NACS, speed is everything. Our photo booth allowed guests to snap their branded photos and instantly share them via text or email. This allowed attendees to post their “sweet” moments to LinkedIn and Instagram right away, extending Mondelez’s brand visibility far beyond the walls of McCormick Place.

    While the experience was all about fun, the backend was all about business. As guests waited for their digital photos to be delivered, the booth seamlessly collected valuable contact information.
