Mobil 1’s 25,000-Mile Story at AAPEX 2025 Drives Unforgettable Engagement

When it comes to engines, cars, and horsepower, AAPEX 2025 at The Venetian Expo Center in Las Vegas is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Mobil 1, a major player in the car care industry, made an incredible appearance by partnering with the wild lifestyle brand XOverland. Together, they brought a custom-modified Toyota Tundra and a thrilling story about their main product: an oil change that lasts 25,000 miles.

The idea was built around a multi-continental trip—from the north of France to the end of South Africa—all on a single oil change. The truck itself, complete with a tent, solar energy, and countless utilities, was a testament to this odyssey. Boothtube saw the unique opportunity to help portray this powerful story.

We captured photos of every guest alongside the truck, allowing them to hear the story, inspect the vehicle, and be amazed by the performance of Mobil 1’s products. The result was a massive success: hundreds of top-quality photos were taken, driving exceptional event engagement and invaluable brand loyalty.

Attendees were so invested in the customized car and its incredible journey that they loved the idea of taking a photo with it.

This allowed us to create a smooth, seamless process where guests got a top-quality branded photo, Mobil 1 captured valuable data from potential customers, and everyone left with their favorite moment from the trade show.

    After guests took their photo, they typed their information (like an email address) onto the screen to receive their digital copy. This provided Mobil 1 with a clean, simple, and effective method for lead generation from a highly interested audience.
